Our Program

We offer two types of mentorships. 
1. Our School Year Sessions 
Offered first and second semester for an honor credit at Mayo High School and Century High School through "Mentorship in the Community."
2. Our Summer Session
Offered every summer and open to anyone in the Olmsted County area.

How to get a YL mentorship

- Be in your junior or senior year of high school.

​

- Add "Mentorship in the Community" in your class registration form from Mayo High School or Century High School.

 - Start your mentorship! 

What do mentees do?

Every mentorship is tailored to suit the interests and needs of each mentee. However, mentee can expect to engage in various activities such as:

- Shadowing Defenders 

- Shadowing Prosecutors

- Watching real trials 

- Jail Tour

- Volunteering

- Creating Community Connections 

- Meeting with mentors 

- Create a final project
